Animal Morph

Sculpture Time! 

Each of you will be morphing two animals together to create a new breed of animal.

Here are a few funny examples of both clay pieces and photographs

 

All of you MUST draw 3 different sketches before starting with clay

You do not have to create a fish. You can create a different type of sea creature if you'd like.

Each of you will design a slab container. You MUST have a theme in which your container, handle and glaze design all relate too.

Please sketch 2 completely different designs and show me before you start with clay.

TOTEM SPOON LESSON

 Each of you will be answering the questionnaire, but instead of answering it with a written response you will be responding in small drawing. 

Once you have finished the questionnaire you will pick 5 of your favorite answers to incorporate into your spoon design.

FINAL

The Zentangle Method is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns.

 For your final you will be creating a series of 3 Zentangle tiles that each have the same theme with a different representation of that theme for each. For example your theme might be OCEAN. Each on of your tiles is going to be an abstract representation of the ocean. Think about the naturally occurring patterns and lines that exist in the ocean.
